Saldanha Bay Local Municipality Directorate Planning Services Vacancies Requirements:-
- Grade 10 • M3 course in electrical heavy current, or certificate, or equivalent accredited certificate with safety module and streetlight module included • Crane operator certificate • Code C1 with PrDP and must be able to obtain code EC1, 5Ton Crane and Personnel crane Licences • Minimum of 2 year’s practical experience in the operation, maintenance of municipal LV networks, street lighting and working near electrical three phase systems • Be able to solve problems • Must be able to work at extreme heights and on small platforms • Must be able to complete job cards, log sheets and timesheets • Must be willing to work after hours, on public holidays and in all kinds of weather conditions • Must be physically fit and healthy • Must be able to do standby duties • May not be colour blind • Good communication skills in two of the three official Western Cape languages
