Requirements:-
A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing.
Basic R425 qualification (i.e.diploma/degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse and midwife. (This dispensation is only applicable for posts of Clinical Programme Coordinator where it is an inherent requirement of the post, incumbent to maintain registration with the SANC).
Ensure implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the District HIV/AIDS/TB Services. Provide comprehensive support for Mossel Bay and Hessequa Sub-districts to enable implementation and realisation of Western Cape and Garden Route District Health plans. Support Mossel Bay and Hessequa Sub-Districts to achieve programmatic deliverables including: Maternal-Child-Women’s-Health, First 100 days strategy, HIV/AIDS/STI/TB, and Chronic Disease Management. Monitor and evaluate programme goals and targets including the collection, validation, interpretation and analysis of statistical data. Support the Mossel Bay and Hessequa Sub-Districts to achieve and maintain Ideal clinic and Ideal Hospital status for all Health Facilities.
Knowledge of the Maternal-Child-Women’s-Health, HIV/AIDS/STI/TB, and Chronic Disease Management. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
